The Gamelet will provide a virtual environment of a registration counter, where the player controls a Registration PSA. A patient arrives with their NOK, and the player discovers that the patient has been given an appointment at the wrong clinic.
The player must then address the patient’s agitation and manage the challenging situation by using TeamSTEPPS tools to communicate the issue with her colleague.
PSA Room Assistant
The Gamelet will provide a virtual environment of a consultation room, where the player controls a Room Assistant. An angry patient tries to barge into the consultation room when the doctor is providing treatment to another patient. The player must then address the patient’s agitation and manage the challenging situation by using TeamSTEPPS tools. In another scenario, the patient's NOK is seen taking video of the procedure in the consultation room. Again, the player needs to exercise proper judgment and handle the situation by deploying the TeamSTEPPS tools.
PSA Payment
The Gamelet will provide a virtual environment of a payment counter, where the player controls a Payment PSA. A patient raises his concern on why he cannot use the Medifund to cover the day surgery procedure. The player must then address the patient’s agitation and manage the challenging situation by using TeamSTEPPS tools to deconflict the misunderstanding.
